BunnymundxReader: Theme Parks (Request)

“Come on Aster! It’ll be fun!” You say as you drag your boyfriend to the biggest roller coaster you could find.

“[Name] I don’t think this a good idea!” Aster protested, but couldn’t win against your tugging.

You and Aster had been going out for about a year now, and you knew that he was the easter bunny. You never stopped believing in him since you were a child, but it took the third date for you to recognize him in his human form, with those green eyes and bushy eyebrows.

It was your one year anniversary and you choose to go to a theme park and managed to convince Aster (in human form) to go on all the rides with you. He still had a fear of heights, so you were trying to cure it by making him face his fear. He tried resisting you over and over again, but you wouldn’t have it.

“Aster E Bunnymund, you are getting on this ride and you are going to face your fear. There’s nothing to be scared of.” you ordered, your voice getting softer as you turned to look him in the eye. “I promise that this is safe. They wouldn’t let people ride it if it wasn’t. Plus, I’ll be right next to you the entire time, you can ever hold my hand.” you said, giving him a reassuring smile. Aster looked between you and the ride, mentally arguing with himself.

“Alright, fine. But only once.” he said. You cheered and dragged him the rest of the way to the line to wait. It didn’t take too long before you were helping Aster strap into his seat before buckling up yourself. The park employes came by to check that everyone was secure. The ride jerked and you heard Aster shriek and grab for your hand. You held onto his and gave it a reassuring squeeze.

The ride started to move up its first big incline and you could tell the anticipation was killing Aster by the way he was grabbing onto your hand. You could feel your own adrenaline pumping through your veins as you reached the top.

“Hang on!” you shouted as the two of you plummeted straight down. You laughed with excitement as Aster screamed in true terror. As he continued screaming, you started to feel a little bad. You had forced him onto this ride and he wasn’t enjoying it.

“Woohoo!” was the next thing you heard. Looking beside you as best as you could, you saw Aster smiling and whooping with laughter. You soon joined him, and once the ride had stopped, he was practically dragging you to get in line again.

“See! I told you it wasn’t that bad.” you told him. He laughed and ruffled your hair, before giving your cheek a kiss.

“It was bloody amazing! Like my tunnels except no walling.” he said.

The two of you rode the roller coaster and many other rides many times and before you decided that the last ride of the day would be ferris wheel.

“Today was absolutely perfect. And just look at the sunset.” you said, looked out over the horizon. Aster only glanced at the sunset before turning back and marveling at how beautiful you looked in the setting suns light. Your (h/c) hair shimmered and reflexed the golden light in the suns few visible moments. Your (e/c) eyes highlighted as you smiled gently. Aster couldn’t help his heart throbbing at the sight.

You turned and looked back at him. He smiled and took your hands in his, leaning in.

“Happy anniversary love.” he said and laid a sweet kiss on your lips.
