ChasexReader: To the Dark Side Pt8

Over the next week, you and Chase acted like the kiss had never happened. You kept becoming stronger and stronger with each training session that Chase gave you. You still cleaned for him and cooked for him on occasions. The jungle cats had all gotten used to your presence and knew that you had joined them. You befriended all of them as time passed, but your favorite was the black panther that stayed by your side almost all the time.

Things were getting dull as you lazily patted the panther behind his ears. That was, until Chase appeared in front of you, a serious look on his face.

“A new wu has just resurfaced. The lightning locust.” he said. At the mention of lightning, your ears perked up. You quickly rose from your sitting position and stood before him.

“What are we waiting for?” you asked. He smirked and pulled you close to him before the two of you disappeared in the usual green smoke. You reappeared in a crowded city with bustling people in their own worlds walking down the street.

“The wu is on top of the building.” Chase said and pointed to a sky scraper. You could faintly see something on the very top shimmering in the sunlight. Without another word, the two of you went running in that direction. You were at the base of the building when you spotted the xiaolin warriors and Jack Spicer, also at the base.

There was a moment of pause as the xiaolin warriors took in your new attire, and as Jack also took in your new attire and wondered why you were still with Chase. It was you and Chase scaling the building that triggered the xiaolin warriors to start their ascent, which triggered Jacks ascent.

It was you, Chase, Omi, Jack, and Raimundo that were in the lead. Omi was right behind you and tried to kick your feet out from under you, but you dodged and kept going. You were almost at the top when Omi tried once again to kick you out, but this time, Chase blocked him. You gave him a confused look.

“I trust you.” was all he said. That was all you needed to hear and you continued the last lead up to the lightning locust. It was you, Jack, and Raimundo that touched the wu at the same time.

“I challenge you both to a xiaolin showdown. I wager my monkey staff.” Jack said.

“I wager my sword of storm.” Raimundo said. They both looked at you, and you smirked.

“I wage my shadow slicer. Not that I’ll need it.” you said. You had every intention to not use your wu at all. You knew you wouldn’t need it.

“The game is dodge ball. Let’s go, Xiaolin Showdown!” you all yelled. In a flash, your your surroundings were changed into gym court with dodge balls scattered everywhere. You all looked at each other before you all started towards the wu. Raimundo was ahead of you and Jack, so you grabbed a ball and threw it at the wu, moving it. You then threw a ball as Raimundo, making his dodge, until you immediately threw another one, catching him off balance. The ball hit him in the face and he fell on his bum.

Jack laughed, still running towards the wu. You threw a ball at him and he shrieked like a girl. “Monkey staff!” he shouted, and grabbed three balls, one with his tail, and threw them at you. You easily dodged and quickly threw four back at him at rapid speed. He was taken out in a matter of seconds.

Raimundo had gotten back on his feet, and came at you from behind. He was about to trip you when you flipped him.

“I’ve been waiting for a rematch. Raimundo~” you sung out. He growled and came at you again with his fists, which you easily blocked. He seemed surprised by your skill, and you loved it.

“Come on Raimundo! You’ve got this!” the other warriors cheered for him from the bleachers. Raimundo kept throwing attacks, and you kept blocking them. When the moment was right, you gave him a good punch, and watched him skid across the floor. You then turned and grabbed the wu, holding it up triumphantly.

In another flash, everything went back to normal and you collected the wu that you won. Chase approached you, a proud smile on his face. “Let’s take our leave. There’s nothing left for us here.” he said. You nodded and he pulled you close again. You left the way you came, and found yourselves in th exact spot you had been in before. You pulled away slightly to look up at his face.

You looked into each others eyes before you both leaned in and kissed passionately. It was spur of the moment, you having won the challenge was definitely something to celebrate. And Chase at this point knew that you were going to be the perfect companion.

Pulling away from the kiss, you looked into his eyes for something. He looked into yours and smirked.

“You will make a perfect companion to rule the world with.” he said. “You’ll join me, right?” he asked. You smiled and nodded. You brought him into another kiss, this one a little more gentle and loving.

This is all you had ever wanted. And now you have it.
